These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website pickleandchill.in (the “Site”) and the services provided by Pickle & Chill. (“we”, “us”, “our”), including court rentals, coaching sessions, and memberships (collectively, the “Services”). By using our Site or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

 

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to enter into a booking or membership agreement on your own behalf. Minors may use our Services only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Bookings and Payments

     

      • All court bookings, coaching sessions, and memberships are subject to availability and to confirmation by us.

      • Prices are listed on the Site or communicated at the time of booking and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

      • Payment terms (advance, on-arrival, or otherwise) will be communicated at the time of booking.

      • A confirmed booking constitutes a binding agreement between you and us, subject to our cancellation and refund policy below.
    3. Cancellations, Refunds, and No-Shows

       

        • Court bookings: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the slot are eligible for a full refund or rescheduling. Cancellations within 24 hours may be charged in full at our discretion.

        • Coaching sessions: Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance are refundable or rescheduled. Late cancellations or no-shows are non-refundable.

        • Memberships: Membership fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

        • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule bookings due to weather, maintenance, or other operational reasons; in such cases, you will receive a refund or alternative slot.

      4. Code of Conduct

      When using our facilities, you agree to:

         

          • Wear non-marking indoor sports shoes on the courts.

          • Follow safety instructions from our staff and coaches.

          • Treat other players, staff, and equipment with respect.

          • Refrain from disruptive, abusive, or unsafe behaviour.

        We reserve the right to refuse entry, terminate sessions, or cancel memberships in case of serious or repeated breaches of conduct, without refund.

        5. Assumption of Risk and Liability

        Pickleball, badminton, and similar sports involve inherent physical risks, including injury. By booking a court or coaching session, you:

           

            • Confirm that you are physically fit to participate.

            • Acknowledge the inherent risks involved.

            • Agree to participate at your own risk.

          To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property arising from your use of our facilities, except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

          6. Use of the Site

          You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not:

             

              • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or related systems.

              • Interfere with the Site’s normal operation or use it to transmit harmful code.

              • Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Site without our written permission.

            7. Intellectual Property

            All content on the Site — including the Pickle & Chill name, logo, text, images, and design — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use only.

            8. Third-Party Services

            The Site may link to or integrate with third-party services (e.g., Google Forms, Turftown). We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of those third parties.

            9. Disclaimers

            The Site and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding their accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose, except as required by law.

            10. Limitation of Liability

            To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the six (6) months preceding the claim.

            11. Changes to These Terms

            We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

            12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

            The laws of India govern these Terms. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
